Temperatures will rise from near 60° to near 80° ten days from now. There's still snow, but not much on south facing slopes.

Springlike conditions continue at Donner Summit, but there was half a foot of new snow Monday. Hiking at 7000 ft is feasible; the snow is firm but slippery; but you can also ski on north-facing slopes.
